Feed me!

Will has started cereal and seems to enjoy the mess just as much as the food! He started with rice cereal, but now seems to prefer oatmeal!  I have already made 14 servings of carrots and have those frozen...will introduce those and some sweet potatoes, apples and pears in a few weeks!

New Pictures!

Will is growing like a weed!  He weights almost 18 lbs now and is rolling all over the place...he is trying so hard to crawl and will be doing so before we know it!  Just yesterday I purchased the infamous plug covers and I guess will start moving breakables higher pretty soon!

Goin' Visitin'

Will's cousin Holland had his first birthday party this past weekend and we trekked to Medina to join in the fun!  Holland was having a blast with his new puppy and all the family and friends that visited.  He even got to coat himself (and his mom) in blue icing from the birthday cake...a perfect 1st birthday...Will can't wait I'm sure! Will was all smiles and had a blast showing off his cute little dimple to anyone who gave him a little attention!

More Family Visits

This past weekend we had another chance to spend it with Will and his favorite people, his grand parents. We ran up to Austin and while I went over to B/CS for the day mom and Will hung out with Nana. Will was able to hang out at the mall with his cousins and then we ate dinner with everybody when I got back. We then got up early the next morning and drove out to see Grandpa and Mema for the day. Will was awesome for the drive!!!! He slept the whole way out and was great all day. He was a little fussy right before we got home, but come on, it was a long weekend for the little guy. He is getting so expressive. He smiles all the time! We have been so blessed and are so very thankful. While we were at home Will got to see Uncle Danny, Kallie and Aunt Daw. Below is a great picture of Mema and Aunt Daw.

Fun Visit

Unfortunately we did not move fast enough to get any pictures of it, but Will had some special visitors tonight. My cousin Beaux, his wife Kristin and their son Holland came over to visit. It was so much fun for Bridget and I to be able to sit and visit with a couple that has and is going through the joy and trials of being young parents. Of course, Will and Holland were great and were the center of attention. It is amazing to think that in just a few months our son will be scooting around the floor like Holland! And boy how time flies, I can remember last February when Holland was born and we could not go visit because Bridget had just come down with Strep throat. Tonight was just yet another reminder of why we are so blessed and lucky to have the opportunity to live so close to family. My hope this New Year is to try and do a better about spending more time with our family. We are off to a great start! Thanks Beaux and Kristen.

What a cutie!

Mommy, Daddy and Will went to watch the girls beat Roosevelt in basketball last week!  We joined our friends the Fishers (Millie, Paul and Shane) and had a great time!  Will was a trooper...those games can get really loud with all the music and buzzers and stuff.  He really seemed to like it - a bball star in the making!  We went to Herbert's Taco Hut to eat afterward and he was awake all but one quarter of the bball game!  What a sport!

The day after Christmas we had Christmas with PaPa, which was awesome.  Uncle Robert and Aunt Romina, Cecily and Camden all came out and spent the day at the ranchita in Cherokee.  Camden and PaPa get to feed the cows together for now, but just wait till next Christmas...Will is going to be tagging along!

This year we had Christmas at our house and it was great to have all our families together!  Nana and Grandaddy, Mema and Grandpa, Aunt Doyle, Uncle Katy, Aunt Romina and Uncle Robert, both Uncle Dannys, Katy's parents Tom and Judy, and cousins Kyle, Camden and Cecily...it was a full house, but just perfect!
Aunt Daw gave Will this little outfit for Christmas, so Mema took our picture...how cute he is!

Time Flies

Well it has been quite some time since our last post, but things have been busy with the holidays. Will is growing so fast and added tremendous amounts of joy and purpose to our Christmas and the welcoming of the New Year. Will has made many mile stones in his 2 plus months with us. He is now eating formula, he was vaccinated earlier this week and he weighs 13 lbs 10 oz and is 24 1/2 inches long. He is sleeping through most of the night and only "asks" to be fed once during the night. Bridget is a wonderful mom and attends to his every need with great care and enthusiasm. Bridget went back to work part-time before the Christmas break and is regretfully going back to work full-time after the break. But like many other families, we will adjust and will be looking forward to the summer when Bridget is off for the summer. Attached is a short video that Bridget took with our new video camera that we got for Christmas, I am not sure what more cute, Bridget trying to get Will to smile or Will actually smiling. We hope you all had a wonderful Holiday Season and the New Year brings you all peace and prosperity.
